Mission
WinterVille Technical High School prepares every student for college, career and life by pairing a strong academic program with hands-on, industry-standard technical education.
Vision
Every WinterVille graduate leaves with a diploma, a trade, real work experience and the confidence to choose their own path.
Our history
WinterVille Technical High School was founded on a simple idea: students learn best when they can see, touch and build what they are learning. From its first graduating class, WinterVille has paired a full high school diploma program with hands-on training in the trades and technical careers that power our community.
Over the years the school has grown from a handful of shops into eight career pathways, from Automotive Technology and Carpentry to Health Technology and Information Technology. Our labs and shops are set up like real workplaces, and our teachers bring years of industry experience into the classroom.
Today WinterVille Tech serves students in grades 9–12. Freshmen explore every shop before choosing a pathway, and upperclassmen sharpen their skills through advanced coursework, projects and work-based learning. Our graduates go on to college, apprenticeships, the military and skilled careers, and many come back to share what they have built.
From the principal
Welcome
Welcome to WinterVille Technical High School! I am proud to lead a school where students learn by doing — in our shops, labs and classrooms, and out in the community with local employers.
At WinterVille Tech, every student completes a full academic program and earns real technical skills in a career pathway they choose. Our teachers bring industry experience into the classroom, and our graduates leave ready for college, apprenticeships, the military or a job on day one.
Whether you are a family exploring high school options, a current student or a community partner, I invite you to visit, take a tour and see what our students are building. Our door is always open.
Joe User, Principal / Head of School
